The Journey to Chicago

This winter break, I decided to discover a new state in The US. My destination this time is Chicago, Illinois. I had an unforgettable five-day trip there. We bought Citypass and visited 5 different tourist attractions.

The Citypass is the wisest choice of us in this trip. I would recommend this for tourists who come to Chicago for their first time. It costs only $116 per person and you could enjoy up to 5 most famous tourist attractions in Chicago.

On our first day, we arrived in the afternoon. After having dinner, we went to Adler Planetarium Museum for an Universe tour in the evening. Here, it seemed to be in the real galaxy. With the Citypass, we were allowed to choose 2 different night shows. I decided to watch the Moon and Sky Night. What a great experience.

The second day was the best day of the trip until the snow storm came. In the morning, we had brunch at The Peninsula Chicago. Really enjoyed the food and service. I had croissant and orange juice for myself.

After lunch, we went to The Shedd Aquarium as it would be closed earlier than usual due to weather. At the entrance of the aquarium, an three-floor-ocean was located. We watched the Sharks 4-D show. Really enjoyed it. We could feel the sea waves, bubbles,... What made me remember the most is the underwater world, especially the penguins. They are extremely cute and funny. Also, we watched the penguin show together before the aquarium closed.
